Dear anglers,
after the first Guinea Bissau tour was fully booked within a very short time, we are pleased to be able to offer you an additional tour to this fantastic fishing area for 2023.
Here is fishing especially varied: Popping, jigging (both light slow pitch jigging in shallow water, as well as deepsea speed jigging in the offshore area) live bait, dead bait on immensely exciting fish species: Tarpon, Cobia, Amberjack, Cubera, various Trevally species, monster sharks, and, etc….
The following tour is aimed on the one hand for single riders, but also for already “fixed teams” who are interested in an accompanied tour.
At Acunda Lodge, you’ll stay in cozy bungalows for 2 people each — all with ocean views.
Sea-going 25 foot center console boats with 100-150 horsepower will get you to the fish quickly and safely. All boats have experienced captains on board who are very familiar with fishing.
Plan of the tour:
Flight from Germany with TAP to Lisbon – and there an overnight stay.
Connecting flight and arrival Bissau around noon. Afterwards transfer to the lodge.
Accommodation at Acunda Lodge in bungalows (2 persons per bungalow). Full board (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner.
6 days of fishing on 25 foot boat with skipper (3 anglers on board each). It will be at least 8 hours – more likely 10 hours per day (and sometimes more..). Of course, if the weather condition does apply.
The two catamarans can – depending on demand and availability – be booked on the spot for individual tours.
The basic fishing plan is as follows: 3 days “normal” fishing (jigging, popping, live bait in the archipelago), 2 days targeting tarpon and one day targeting cobia. Of course it is possible to deviate from this plan, as long as the boat crew agrees. So, for example, instead of the above-mentioned possibilities, a day for offshore jigging, or even on shark can be built – always provided that the weather conditions allow this.
Transfer to Bissau Airport and return journey – either via Dakar, or via Lisbon (possibly with an overnight stay in between).

- Covid test before return trip (as long as it is still required): Current € 50,-

- For tours with one of the two catamarans: extra charge depending on the number of participants. If the 25 foot boat that is included in the price will not be used, it will not be charged.
