Dear Sport Fishermen,
Fishing trips on the Red Sea have been extremely popular for many years, which is why we are once again offering spring departures for 2026—perfect for solo travelers as well. The advantages are clear: a short trip—usually via a direct flight from Germany—and as soon as you arrive, you’re on board, and then it’s practically all about fishing—6 days at sea (though the boat must return to the marina at night due to regulatory requirements). You can fish either in the northern fishing grounds around the Sinai Peninsula and in the Strait of Gubal, or in the south. You can use a variety of fishing techniques—jigging and popping, live bait fishing, and trolling. Target species: giant trevally, bluefin trevally, king mackerel, dorado (mahi-mahi), snapper, grouper, barracuda, various tuna species, and several others. This makes for a very varied fishing experience, which is also well-suited for beginners to little big game fishing.
The TILIA 1 is the boat used for these trips. Full board is provided on board. Since the boat has 3 guest cabins, we can offer a private cabin to 2 participants when there are 4 anglers on board.
Scheduled itinerary
Flight from Germany to Hurghada, Egypt. From there, a direct transfer to the marina, where you’ll board the “TILIA 1.” Overnight stay on board, before setting off early the next morning for the fishing grounds.
6 days of fishing aboard the “TILIA 1,” including full board. Each evening, the boat returns to Marina Hughada to spend the night. Accommodations in double or single cabins.
