The Read Sea, which is surrounded by the Arabic Peninsula on the one hand side and from North-East Africa on the other side belongs to the waters with the biggest vaiety of different fish species. Divers dicovered this outstanding area already some decades ago and meanwhile the sportfishing adventure in EGYPT developes very well too. No wonder, as the enormous variety of fishes in the Red Sea and also the close distance to Europe make this place to a “dream destination” for sportanglers.
Especially Little Big Game Beginners have very good opportubities to get their first experiences, without travelling around the half planet. Just escape in the wintertime the terrible weather at home and enjoy a week with moderate summer temperatures, spending the time at sea and experience “Seafishing pure”. The Red Sea is waiting for you!
Just to say one thing right at the beginning: Of course, there are many good reasons to plan a journey to Egypt – the ancient culture, the spectacular sights and the very friendly people – nevertheless your voyage will only have ona aim: Fishing, fishing and again fishing. After your arrival in Hurghada you will be picked up at the airport and you go directly to the boat, which you will not leave before the end of your trip
The following days you can use for “fishing around the clock” to catch your fish of dreams The fishing will take place – dependend on the season – either in the waters South of Hurghada in the area of Safaga or El Quseir, or you go the North following the coast along the Sinai-Peninsula and the Strait of Gubal.
During the day you will mostly do trolling with lures (Jigs oder Wobblers). The main targeted species then are: Kingfish, Barracuda, different Tuna-Species (e.g. Yellowfin -Tuna and Skipjack-Tuna), Dorado and Giant Trevally. All the named species will challenge you quite a lot during the fight – be prepared for it!
During the lunch break you will normally go to a reef where you may take a bath or go snorkeling – just as you like. In the evening the crew will ancor the boat at a covered place where you can do the very exciting bottomfishing with bait. Here you will mostly catch Barracudas, Groupers, different Sharkspecies, Rays and first and foremost the very much appreciated Kalamari.

Our absolutely highlight are the fishing trips in the deep South of Egypt – starting at Hamata and heading all the way down to the St. Johns Reef, close to the border of Sudan.

One week fishing in the deep South of Egypt — Raas Banas, Abu Madd, Humairah, Shalatin – just to name some of the Hot Spots which you will fish during this time.
The waters in the South, close to the border of Sudan, were for anglers almost out of reach in the past, since there were simply no boats going to this region.
This trip wil put particularly focus on jigging, popping and baitfishing. When the boat will steam for longer distances, you will also put out trolloing lures. Target fish are: Giant Trevally, Kingmackerel, Barracuda, different Tuna Species, Grouper and also Sharks. Thus we are talking about „Little Big Game“ and it might be a good opportunity also for beginners to get a taste about this type of fishing.

The boats you are going to sail and fish with, do not offer luxury standard, but will provide you with all that you need for a live aboard trip.
The “Waly” is a 17 metres long and 4,60 metres wide boat, which is powered by an 180 hp diesel engine. There are 6 beds, galley, big saloon with dining area, fly bridge, 2 toilets and one shower on board. Waly is located in Hurghada.
Full board will be served during your entire stay on the boat — and be sure: The Egyptian cooks do an excellent job! Particularly the preparation of freshly caught fish in all kind of varieties with delicious vegetables fresh Salads and rice, of course. The crew will provide you with plenty of food – so there is no reason to fight the fishes with a rumble stomach ….
Normally we recommend to our guests to bring their own fishing gear. However, the boat has everything for hire on board what you will need for your trip. If you should have some 20-30 lbs equipment, you’re welcome to bring it along – if not the crew will on demand have everything ready for you – please inform us before your departure about that. We will send you more detailed information when sending you the papers for your journey.

Your arrival at Hurghada Airport. On request we gladly organise the flight for you as well. After clearing immigration, transfer to the boat, check inn and preparing the fishing gear.
In the early morning of Day 2 the boat will leave Hamata, heading to the fishing grounds. Depending of what type of fishing the anglers on board prefer, the options are trolling, bait fishing, jigging and popping. Accommodation + full catering on board.
Am Abend des 7. tages, oder am Morgen des 8. Tages Rückkehr nach Hurghada (je nachdem, wann der Rückflug geht).
Transfer to the airport and departure.
Included are: Transfer from/to Airport Hurghada and one week charter of the boat including full catering.

Flat rate for beveragese (€ 35.- per Pers.) The non alcoholic drinks will be organised by the crew – and have to be paid to them. Alcoholic drinks are best to be purchased at the Duty Free Shop in the airport – directly after your arrival.

International Flight to Hurghada/Egypt. Transfer to Hamata (app. 4,5 hours), where you will go on board. The first night the boat will stay in the marina before you will start the fishing trip on the early morning next day.
One week on board. inkl. full catering. Fishing is pratically possible 24 hours a day — at night time when the boat is on anchor. Accommodation in double cabin.
