Dear sport fishermen, finally we can offer you again an suitably large boat for the tours to the southern Egypt, up to the St. Johns reef. The “REMAS” has everything you need for a week tour to this excellent fishing area and the technical data are here impressively convincing: length 23 meters, width 5 meters, 4 cabins with a total of 10 beds (but the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 5), 2 toilets, powerful 350 hp diesel engine – and of course plenty of deck space for fishing. The tours to southern Egypt from Hamata to St. Johns Reef have been very popular for a long time. A week of fishing on the Red Sea – Raas Banas, Abu Madd, Humairah, Shalatin – just to name a few of the top spots you will head for. |
The waters in the absolute south of Egypt, up to the Sudanese border were for a long time almost inaccessible for anglers, because there were hardly any boats that made tours to fish in this region. In the meantime this has fortunately changed and we can currently offer you a boat that can do such a long range tour: The “FBI”, (which has nothing to do with an American investigative agency, but is rather an abbreviation for Fishing Beyond Imagination) is 14 meters long, 4 meters wide and is powered by a 190 HP Motor. There are 2 cabins for a total of 4 guests.
This tour – like many of our single rider trips by now – will have special focus on jigging, popping and natural bait fishing. On longer trips, certainly some trolling as well. Target fish here are Giant Trevally, King Mackerel, Barracuda, various species of Tuna, Grouper and also Sharks. So it is “Little Big Game” and therefore this tour is also well suited for anglers who want to get to know this fishery a little better.
Plan of the tour:
Flight from Germany to Hurghada/Egypt. From there transfer to Hamata (approx. 4.5 hours), where you will board the “REMAS”. The first night you will spend in the harbor, before it starts early the next morning south to the fishing area.
One week on board the “REMAS” incl. full board. Fishing is possible practically around the clock, depending on where the boat can anchor at night. Accommodation in double cabin.
Return to Hamata, transfer to Hurghada and flight back to Germany
