Spectacular fishing for the monster herring in the Caribbean.
Dear sport fishermen,
This is THE opportunity for everyone who has always toyed with the idea of fishing for tarpons, because Trinidad is currently THE insider tip when it comes to monster herring. After 2 initially almost unbelievable test fishing sessions in late summer/autumn 2019, we had the first 2-man team on site in August 2022 — after the Corona break. Result in 5.5 fishing days: 91 (!!) tarpons with peak weights of up to 130 pounds. Reason enough to offer an accompanied tour for individual riders again in August 2023 during the best phase of the moon, in which every participant should get their money’s worth.
At the end of the test tours, too, an average of more than 10 tarpons were landed per day – many in the 20-70 pound class, but fish over 100, 150 or even 200 pounds are always included.
Geplanter Ablauf der Tour:
Arrival from Germany via Amsterdam to Trinidad.
Transfer to the hotel
Accommodation at Crews Inn Hotel (double occupancy). 5 fishing days/8 hours each on 31 foot center console boat/200 hp. 3-4 anglers on board. Soft drinks, beer + sandwiches included. We have planned another 1.5 “buffer days” in case a fishing day should be canceled due to the weather conditions. Otherwise we can use the day either for sightseeing or as an extra day of fishing (additional costs).
Night flight back to Germany via Amsterdam.
