A group has just returned from the “7 Brothers Islands” in Djibouti – and as expected, they really caught some good fish. The area has not only once again proven its exceptional position in GT fishing, but has also shown once again that here even the highest quality material still reaches its limits. |
A GT-Rex Drilling (this is one of the most stable, which is currently available on the market) was simply broken by a GT bomber (Giant Trevally) during the escape under the boat. In spite of some losses the catch results could be seen: We didn’t count exactly, but there were about 40 GTs – most of them in the 20-30 kg class, but also fish of 40kg+.
