Dear Sport Anglers,
Once again, we have a very exciting trip on offer for all big-game fishing enthusiasts: We’re heading to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—one of the world’s best destinations for catching striped marlin. There are also excellent chances of catching dorado (mahi-mahi), yellowfin tuna, and wahoo. We’re planning a dedicated shark fishing trip on one day, where we expect to encounter mainly mako, hammerhead, and blue sharks—and possibly even thresher sharks. We’ll be fishing aboard the El Budster fleet (see our website) or on big game yachts of the same design.
If that’s not enough for you, instead of relaxing on your one scheduled fishing-free day of the week, you can try your luck at inshore fishing from small pangas for roosterfish, jack crevalle, or sierra mackerel. By the way, these species can also be caught from the beach using spin lures.
We’re staying at the ****Hotel Tesoro, which is located right in the Cabo San Lucas Marina. The hotel offers rooms with balconies overlooking the harbor, where you can enjoy a “sundowner” after an exciting day of fishing and watch the bustling activity in the marina. There are also numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity where you can enjoy a pleasant evening.
Fortunately, getting there has become much easier thanks to the direct flights to and from Frankfurt, compared to the past. Connecting flights from other German airports or from Austria or Switzerland are no problem.
So, if you’d like to escape the often stressful pre-Christmas rush and the dreary weather at home for a week and test your skills against marlin, tuna, and other species in midsummer temperatures, then this tour might be just the thing for you!
Planned schedule
Travel by direct flight from Frankfurt to San Jose Los Cabos. Arrival in the late afternoon. Transfer to Cabo San Lucas (about a 45-minute drive).

One week’s accommodation at the ****Hotel Tesoro in Marina Cabo San Lucas (double room with one large double bed) featuring ocean views. Single rooms available upon request.
5 days of fishing aboard the “El Budster” (or similar). Each trip lasts approximately 8 hours, with 3 anglers per boat. One day is set aside either for relaxation or as an additional fishing day for panga fishing, inshore fishing, or big game fishing.
Transfer to the airport and return trip
Arrival in Frankfurt and, if applicable, connecting flight or return trip.
